5th GRADE SUPPLY LISTS


The following items are core items needed for all fifth graders at Dr. Nixon. Your child’s classroom teacher will probably request a few additional supplies after school begins. When your son or daughter arrives at school in August, please make sure he or she brings the following supplies:

1 standard sized clipboard

2-glue sticks

1-ruler (cm. and in.)

2-packages Post-it notes (2"x3")

4-packages loose leaf paper
(replaced 2nd semester)

2-red pens

1-yellow highlighter

2-black sharpie markers (thin line)

1-gum eraser

1-package of pencils (#2)

1-package of colored pencils (24 ct)

1-pair of quality cutting scissors

2-boxes of tissue

1-pencil box

1-bottle white glue

1-composition book

2-spiral notebooks

1-bottle hand sanitizer

Backpack (backpacks with rollers do not fit in lockers and are not recommended)

OPTIONAL: crayons and markers
